a bit late...

Ok so all of these posts were supposed to be yesterday but that didn't seem to happen. I had to cover a shift at work and then the scanner in the library wasn't doing what I wanted and yes..you get the picture.

I've been working almost non-stop on my RSA as the deadline is Monday but I have had a few ideas about my FMP. Mainly that I'd like to base my collection around stories, particularly the 'Puddle Lane' series, my only worry with this is copyright.

I'm also enjoying working with sportswear fabric in my RSA so that may be another route I could explore. But really instead of narrowing down my ideas they seem to be ever expanding which is good but ever so slightly annoying.






















The stitched camera images I did for my RSA but I really like them and I've realized my sewing machine can do more than I thought.

I did my trend research board but theres not much info on Spring/Summer 2008 yet which is what I want my collection to be for. Hopefully the next Textile View (after xmas?) will have what I'm looking for. I did find a bit on Summer 2008 sportswear predictions though






















On another note, major thumbs down: Derby isn't having a catwalk show at Graduate Fashion Week. Not good.
